FEMA approves North Dakota’s participation in Lost Wages Assistance program to aid unemployed workers

BISMARCK, N.D. – Gov. Doug Burgum today expressed his gratitude after the Federal Emergency Management Agency approved North Dakota’s participation in the Lost Wages Assistance program created by President Donald Trump to ease the economic burden for those who have lost their employment because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Job Service North Dakota will be conducting maintenance which will affect the employer internet website (UI EASY), the secure file transfer portal (Secure FTP), the claimant internet website (UI ICE) and the claims center interactive voice response phone systems (701-328-4995) beginning Thursday September 3, 2020 at 8:00 PM and ending no later than Friday September 4, 2020 at 1 AM CDT.  

All systems will be unavailable. Claimants will be unable to file an unemployment insurance claim, certify eligibility or complete required UI activities while maintenance is performed. Please make plans to complete these activities prior to the downtime or once the system returns to normal operation.
