Employment:
- Job Service North Dakota - Job Service North Dakota is a state agency that assists individuals with employment-related services. Job Service ND assists both job seekers and employers with workforce solutions and job placement services.
- JSND Veterans Employment Services - The Veterans' Employment Team provides individualized services to help you overcome significant barriers to employment and develop an employment plan that's right for you. -Help translating military skills and experience into civilian terms. -Current labor market information.
- Veteran Readiness and Employment Ch. 33 - Provide employment services to Service Connected Veterans to prepare, obtain and maintain suitable employment.
- Veterans Inc. - Veterans Inc. administers the DOL program Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program (HVRP). We assist veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness find employment and training. We can assist with purchasing interview clothing and work-related supplies that are required for the job. Additionally, we assist with job search support, job placement, follow up support, mentoring, resume writing, interview techniques, and money management.

- North Dakota State Approving Agency/ND Veterans Affairs - We approve programs of education and training for VA Education Benefits
- Veteran Readiness and Employment Ch. 33 - Provide employment services to Service Connected Veterans to prepare, obtain and maintain suitable employment.

- ND Department of Veterans Affairs - Assisting County and Tribal VSOs with Veteran Claims for Healthcare, Disability, Appeals, Non-Service Connected Pension, Education Benefits, State Grant programs for low income Veterans, and State Loan programs.
- Vet Center, U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs - Benefit, resources and service outreach; individual, group, couples and family outpatient counseling.
- Veteran Readiness and Employment Ch. 33 - Provide employment services to Service Connected Veterans to prepare, obtain and maintain suitable employment.
Community Resources:
- Altru Inpatient Behavioral Health - We are a 24-bed inpatient behavioral health center providing a nurturing and therapeutic environment for adolescents and adults who need 24-hour care to manage psychosis, severe depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. Our inpatient programs and daily structured activities are based on an individual’s needs and goals. Their individualized treatment plan will include: 24-hour skilled nursing observation and care, daily interventions and oversight by a psychiatrist, and intensive, highly coordinated treatment by a physician-led team of mental health professionals.
- Assessment and Therapy Associates of Grand Forks (ATAGF) - We are providing FREE relationship retreats where one member of the couple is a service member or Veteran. These retreats are best for couples who have good relationships but want to be even more connected and close (i.e., no, mild, or moderate distress). Retreats are held in Grand Forks & Minot.
- Fargo VA - Suicide Prevention Program - If you're a Veteran who is thinking of hurting yourself—or you know a Veteran who’s considering this—we can help. Our Fargo VA Health Care System suicide prevention coordinators can get you the support you need. They work with our behavioral health providers and community organizations to assist Veterans who are managing emotional or mental health crises.
- Grand Forks AFB Military and Family Readiness TAP Program - Transition Assistance Program (TAP) is a mandatory program that provides information and training to ensure that service members, and their spouses, that are leaving the military understand the benefits and entitlements available to them and are prepared for their next step in life.
- Service Member and Family Support - Services we assist with: Financial Readiness, Deployment Support, Crisis Intervention and Advocacy, Emergency Family Assistance Center (EFAC) Operations, Community Networking, Employment and Career Services, SFRG and Volunteer Training and Assistance, Information and Referral and follow up services
- Vet Center, U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs - Benefit, resources and service outreach; individual, group, couples and family outpatient counseling.
- Veteran Readiness and Employment Ch. 33 - Provide employment services to Service Connected Veterans to prepare, obtain and maintain suitable employment.
County Veterans Service Officers (VSOs) are your local experts in navigating federal and state benefits for veterans. They provide free, professional assistance with health care, compensation, pensions, long-term care, and burial benefits—including support for surviving spouses who may qualify for state and limited federal aid. VSOs regularly work with the U.S. and North Dakota Departments of Veterans Affairs, as well as National Service Officers from veterans’ organizations and other government agencies, to ensure veterans receive all eligible support.
