Leadership

Maren Daley was appointed Executive Director of Job Service North Dakota by Governor John Hoeven in December 2000.

Maren earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of North Dakota.

Maren previously worked as a banker and lawyer with a commercial bank and trust institution. She served as the senior vice president in charge of lending and specialized in commercial and agricultural lending as well as risk management.

Job Service North Dakota is the state workforce agency that connects job seekers with jobs in North Dakota, provides extensive state labor market information, and administers the unemployment insurance program. Job Service North Dakota also administers North Dakota’s two job training programs: Workforce 20/20 and the New Jobs Training Program.

Maren is an active member of the National Association of State Workforce Agencies and served as chair on the Labor Market Information Committee and the Veterans’ Affairs Committee.
