BISMARCK, N.D. – Two websites that serve Job Service North Dakota are back online after service issues with Geographic Solutions, Inc. (GSI), an external website vendor. NDworkforceConnection.com, which is the state’s searchable job database, and NDLMI.com, which houses Labor Market Information, are again operational.
Unemployment claims were not affected, and the agency’s home page, jobsnd.com, remained active and accessible during the outage, which began June 26 after GSI experienced a service outage.
GSI has contracted with a cybersecurity firm for incident response in accordance with industry best practices. Representatives say no data was compromised in this disruption of service.
The websites came back online over the weekend at reduced functionality. GSI is continuing to work on the remaining affected functionality. Employers are now able to post jobs directly to NDworkforceConnection.com or by calling their local Workforce Center. Job Service North Dakota continues to offer in-person assistance with job searching at our nine Workforce Centers across the state. Staffed resource rooms are free of charge to the public and available during business hours.
