The Fargo Job Service offers free quarterly employer workshops in their office, located at 1350 32nd Street South.  These workshops are held from 3pm - 5pm in Room C/D.

July 27 - North Dakota Unemployment Insurance Workshop
Dave Schnase, Appeals Referee, Job Service ND
* Dave will discuss what is considered in the decision making process for different issue types such as misconduct and voluntary quit. 
* He will review what is deemed misconduct for unemployment purposes, and will discuss the importance of first hand testimony vs. hearsay.

October 19 - Drug Free Work Week
Vicki Schmidt, Schmidt & Associates and a representative from the Fargo Police Department.
*Vicki will review the latest trends in drug testing and how drugs in the workplace can affect your bottom line.
*A representative from the Fargo Police Department will share the steps they have taken to ensure the F-Marea is a good and safe place to work and have a business.
