Go Green! Seeking Native Americans to participate in the first "Native Amercian Energy Auditor Level II Training Course"
A Unique Partnership
The Office of Indian Energy & Economic Development, United Association of Journeyman and Apprenticeship of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada, and United Tribes Technical College have entered into a partnership to deliver Energy Auditor Level II Training. They are seeking Native Americans who are unemployed or under-employed for an 18-week course that will train them to be Energy Auditors.
No Tuition Fees!
Application Deadline is December 4, 2009
Once training is completed, the Energy Auditor can:
- Perform in-depth diagnostics and evaluations.
- Create Fuel Efficiency reports for the customer.
- Perform various airflow task including Blower Door and Duct-Blaster tests.
- Give recommendations and possible solutions for all problematic areas concerning energy inefficiencies and losses that are determined and reported.
- Perform a complete energy audit.
