Local Training Resources

Job Service North Dakota administers the Workforce Investment Act (WIA).  WIA is a federally-funded program that makes funds available for approved training (vocational classroom training, on-the-job training, or work experience) if an individual meets eligibility criteria.

After completing an assessment process, Job Service will assist you in determining what training is available to help you reach your employment goal, and what financial assistance is available.

There is also labor market information (LMI) available that can assist you in finding occupations that are in demand in the community.  Sources include www.jobsnd.com (click on the NDWIN icon) or www.online.onetcenter.org.

For more information, contact our office at 701-328-5000 or 1-800-247-0981 and ask to speak to the WIA staff.
