Beginning Wednesday, April 16, 2008, Unemployment Insurance (UI) claimants will have the option to receive benefit payments by direct deposit into their existing checking or savings accounts.
Tue Nov 27, 2007: Gov. Hoeven Announces Reduction in UI Tax Rates

Gov. John Hoeven today announced a reduction in the average unemployment insurance tax rate from 1.18 percent of taxable wages in 2007 to 0.95 percent of taxable wages in 2008, bringing the average tax rate below 1 percent.
Mon Sep 17, 2007: Notice to Unemployment Insurance Online Filers (UI EASY)

A recent change to UI EASY will mean a slightly different appearance to our online filing application for employers. Previously, you completed both portions of the login process prior to seeing the main menu. Effective this quarter, you will receive the main menu after logging in to the state's secure environment but prior to logging in to your individual account.
