North Dakota Workforce Training Network
Workforce training is the process of providing the best, most up-to-date training to employees, making them more competitive in the workforce and more valuable to an employer. In 1999, the North Dakota legislature created the Workforce Training Initiative on a statewide level and made it a top priority. They recognized that for North Dakota to remain viable and competitive, major changes were urgently needed for business, industry, and individual communities. The Workforce Training Initiative was created to solve the problems faced by businesses, which include hiring and maintaining a well-trained workforce.
