Request to be a Youth Service Provider
Solicitation of Interest to Provide Services to Youth in the Workforce Investment Act
Job Service North Dakota is soliciting entities interested in providing any of the following services to youth eligible for the Workforce Investment Act:- Tutoring Program
- Study Skills Training
- Basic Skills Training
- Instruction Leading to Secondary School Completion
- Alternative Secondary School Offerings
- GED Preparation
- Summer Employment Opportunity Projects
- Group Occupational Skill Training
- Leadership Development Opportunities
- Work Maturity/Life Skills
- Mentoring Program
- Guidance and Counseling Services Including Drug and Alcohol Abuse Counseling.
When required, services and/or training programs will be subject to approval by the designated approving agency in North Dakota. The implementation of programs will be determined based on the number of individuals eligible for the Workforce Investment Act and assessed as able to benefit from the services.
Allowable Activities
Funds provided shall be used in accordance with the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, including Federal Regulations as found in 20 CFR Part 652 et al. Providers must follow nondiscrimination and equal opportunities identified in 29 CFR Part 37.
No Award
Job Service North Dakota has the right to make no award. Entities responding will be put on a small purchase provider list from which contractors will be selected.
Expression of Interest
Entities interested in providing these services should submit a letter expressing their interest, specifying the type of services they are interested in providing, and identifying the counties in which these services could be delivered. These letters should be submitted to:
